Return, Exchange and Refund Policy

This Return, Exchange and Refund Policy governs returns, exchanges and refunds for purchases made on the official website of THE YOGA MAN LAB. By placing an order on our website, you agree to this Policy along with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time. Nothing in this Policy limits any statutory rights that you may have under applicable Indian law.


1. Applicability and precedence

  • This Policy applies only to orders placed through THE YOGA MAN LAB official website.
  • In case of any inconsistency between this Policy and any information elsewhere on the website, the specific product page and this Policy will prevail, subject to applicable law.
  • THE YOGA MAN LAB reserves the right to modify, update or withdraw this Policy at any time. The Policy in force at the time of your order will apply to that order.

2. Product specific return and exchange window

  • The return and exchange eligibility and time period for each product are mentioned on the respective product detail page.
  • There is no single generic return period. The return or exchange window can vary from product to product.
  • If a product page does not mention any return or exchange window, the product will be treated as non returnable and non exchangeable, except in cases of damage in transit, wrong item delivered, missing items, or expiry at the time of delivery, as determined by us after verification.

3. Basic eligibility conditions

To be eligible for a return, exchange or replacement, all of the following conditions must normally be satisfied.

  • The request is raised within the product specific return or exchange period mentioned on the product page.
  • In cases of damage, leakage, tampering, pilferage, missing items, expired product, or wrong product received, you must inform us within 24 hours of the order being marked as delivered.
  • The product is unused, unopened and in the same condition as received.
  • The product is in its original and saleable condition with all original packaging, labels, seals, leaflets and accessories intact.
  • The original invoice or valid proof of purchase is available and can be provided.

Products that do not meet the above conditions may not be eligible for return, exchange or refund. Eligibility is always subject to our inspection and sole discretion, in accordance with applicable law.


4. How to raise a return, exchange or replacement request

  2. Mandatory information and photographs For damage, pilferage, wrong product, missing items or expired product, the following must be shared within 24 hours of delivery.
    • Order number and contact details
    • Clear images of the product from different sides
    • Close up image of the damaged or tampered area, if any
    • Images of inner and outer packaging
    • Image of the shipping label and courier packet
    • Image of the invoice
    • Image showing batch number, manufacturing date and expiry date
  3. Do not use the product after raising a complaint Please do not use the product once you have noticed damage, defect, tampering or wrong item and have raised a request. Used products are generally not eligible for return or exchange except where a clear manufacturing defect is established by us.

We usually require 48 to 72 working hours after receiving the complete information and images to review your case and respond with approval, rejection or a request for further clarification.


5. Cases eligible for full refund or free replacement

Subject to verification and inspection, you will normally be eligible for a full refund or free replacement without additional charges, including reverse pickup charges, in the following situations.

  • Package contains fewer items or accessories than ordered and billed
  • Product received is damaged, leaked, broken or appears tampered at the time of delivery
  • Wrong product, variant, quantity or flavour delivered compared to the order placed
  • Expired product or product with unreasonably short remaining shelf life delivered at the time of receipt
  • Shipment is pilfered or evidently opened at the time of delivery and the claim is raised within 24 hours with complete evidence

Depending on the case, we may arrange a reverse pickup or request you to self ship the product to a designated address. You must retain the full packaging until the matter is resolved.


6. Cases where returns or refunds will not be accepted

Returns, exchanges or refunds may be rejected in whole or in part in the following situations, subject to applicable law.

  • The product is used, partially used, consumed or not in the same condition as delivered
  • The original invoice or proof of purchase is not available or cannot be reasonably verified
  • The batch number, MRP, or any label appears to be tampered with, altered, removed or defaced
  • The original outer carton, inner packaging, seals, leaflets or accessories are missing, damaged or not in a saleable condition
  • The product has been damaged due to neglect, improper storage, mishandling, incorrect usage or non adherence to instructions by the customer
  • The product was purchased as part of a special promotion, combo, festive pack or clearance sale where it was clearly mentioned on the product page that it is non returnable or non refundable
  • The request is raised after the expiry of the product specific return or exchange window mentioned on the product page
  • Pilferage, damage or short delivery claims are raised after 24 hours from the time of delivery
  • Required photographs and details of product, invoice and packaging are not provided or are insufficient for verification despite requests from our support team

Personal preferences such as dislike of fragrance, taste, texture or colour, or mild allergic or sensitivity reactions, do not usually qualify as valid reasons for return, exchange or refund if the product otherwise matches its description and is not defective. Customers are advised to review the ingredient list and product description carefully before purchase.

Festive gift boxes, special edition packs, customised boxes and other products that are specifically mentioned as non returnable or non refundable are not eligible for return or exchange except in cases of damage, wrong product or expiry at delivery, as determined by us.


7. Inspection, approval and timelines

  • Once your request and required evidence are received, our team may contact you for additional clarification or information.
  • If a physical return is required, we will either initiate a reverse pickup or share our return address and shipping instructions.
  • After the returned product reaches our facility, it will undergo a quality inspection.
  • Please allow 10 to 15 days from the date the product is handed over to the courier for completion of inspection and processing of your refund or replacement.

All approvals for returns, exchanges and refunds are subject to our verification and are at the sole discretion of THE YOGA MAN LAB, exercised reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.


8. Replacement timelines

  • Once a return has been received and approved for exchange or replacement, we normally deliver the replacement product within 7 to 14 days, subject to stock availability and completion of internal checks.
  • Actual delivery timelines may vary based on your state, city, pincode, courier partner constraints and any external factors that affect logistics.
  • All timelines mentioned are indicative and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our reasonable control such as holidays, strikes, natural events, operational disruptions or courier delays.

9. Refund mode and timelines

All approved refunds are processed only through digital or bank based modes. Cash refunds are not provided.

  • For prepaid orders paid via credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking or wallet, the refund will normally be initiated to the original payment source within 5 to 7 business days after approval.
  • For refunds processed via NEFT or bank transfer, we may request your bank account details. Such refunds are normally initiated within 3 to 5 business days after approval.
  • Once we initiate the refund from our side, it may take an additional 7 to 10 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account, card statement or wallet balance depending on your bank or payment provider.

We will notify you by email or message once your refund has been initiated or once a replacement has been dispatched. THE YOGA MAN LAB is not responsible for delays attributable to banks, payment gateways or third party service providers.


10. Exchanges

Where a product is eligible for exchange, the usual process is as follows.

  1. You raise a return or exchange request within the applicable window for that product.
  2. We verify the request and, if needed, arrange for a reverse pickup or ask you to ship the product back.
  3. After receipt and successful inspection of the returned product, we either:
    • Dispatch a replacement of the same product, variant and quantity, or
    • Process a refund as per this Policy, after which you may place a fresh order for a different product if you wish.

Replacement or exchanged products are normally delivered within 7 to 14 days after approval and receipt of the returned item. Delivery times may vary with location and courier factors as stated above.


11. Non returnable and restricted items

Certain items are non returnable or restricted for return due to health, hygiene, safety or regulatory reasons, except in cases of damage, wrong item or expiry at delivery as verified by us.

  • Personal care, wellness and hygiene products that have been opened or used
  • Perishable goods and food items where the seal or packaging has been opened or tampered
  • Customised, personalised or made to order products
  • Gift cards, vouchers and digital products
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases where return is restricted by law or by courier partners
  • Products clearly marked as non returnable or non refundable on the product page
  • Sale or clearance items where the product page states that such items are not eligible for return

12. Pilferage, short delivery or missing item claims

  • If you suspect pilferage, tampering, short delivery or missing items, you must raise a claim within 24 hours of delivery.
  • You must share clear images of the outer packaging, inner packaging, invoice and all products received.
  • All such claims are subject to review by THE YOGA MAN LAB and our logistics partners, and decisions will be taken based on available evidence and records.

13. Limitation and discretion

  • Our responsibility in respect of any approved claim under this Policy is limited to providing a replacement of the product or a refund of the amount paid for that product, subject to the terms of this Policy.
  • THE YOGA MAN LAB is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss or damage arising out of or in connection with any product or delay in delivery, to the extent permitted by law.
  • All decisions regarding eligibility for return, exchange, replacement or refund under this Policy are taken by THE YOGA MAN LAB at its sole discretion, acting reasonably and in compliance with applicable Indian law, and such decisions shall be final and binding from our end.
